Hello, I’m Evan.

I've had a liking for exceptional design from an early age, nurtured by my parents' introduction to art and our family computer. With those early influences, I was able to grasp a keen eye and new vision for many of my future endeavors. Which has led me into music production, graphic design, videography, and where I am now; sound design.

With audio as my main focus, I’ve accumulated nearly 8 years in this field with 100s of songs released. Some of which have involved physical pressings of my albums. I have also worked closely with label owners and musicians to ensure quality design and aesthetic coherency amongst many projects.

I’ve created projects under many pseudonyms and have branched into a wide variety of audio and visual genres. However, my encompassing alias for my work is Maroplume.

While there is still much to achieve, I'm enthusiastic about the possibility of collaborating in the future!

When granted early access to Garry Newman's latest game, Sandbox. I was inspired to establish a free, publicly accessible sound design repository tailored for game developers utilizing Source 2 and Garry's new platform asset party.


May 2023 - Present

An innovative shooter game with a surreal twist, featuring a unique alternate take on the conventional death system as purgatory. Once in purgatory, players navigate a perilous maze, striving to escape and return to the realm of the living. Within this project, I contributed comprehensive sound design, composed immersive music, and took charge of the game's audio direction.

Over the course of four years, I’ve dedicated much time to my personal Roblox art world called, Data Stream. It’s a multifaceted project that encompasses environmental design, immersive soundscapes, and post-internet stylized art. The result is an engaging, interactive world carefully crafted for the player's exploration and enjoyment.


Flash Bash

From inception to fruition, Flash Bash emerged as a community-driven art exhibit, rooted in artists' interpretations of classic flash games. The event blended local and virtual elements through the platform Vrchat, where it had its dedicated world. Remarkably, Flash Bash generated $1,000 in proceeds, which were donated to support Newgrounds and their community. My role in this project encompassed creating artwork for the event, making music for promotional trailers, and providing design consultation for the Vrchat world.
